Mt. Makalu (8481 m.), the fifth highest mountain of the world lying on the Nepal- Tibet border has the virtue of observing the Nepal?s most major peaks to the east of the Everest. The trek starts right from the Arun Valley. This region, considered as one of the non-tourist areas and has a wonderful charm to explore and always done with a well-supervised and guided group with sensible equipment.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Tumlingtar to Khandbari: Fly, trek.
Day 02: Khandbari to Pangma: Trek.
Day 03: Pangma to Bhotebash: Trek.
Day 04: Bhotebash to Fururu: Trek.
Day 05: Fururu to Num: Trek.
Day 06: Num to Seduwa: Trek.
Day 07: Seduwa to Tashi Gaon: Trek
Day 08: Tashi Gaon to Khongma pass: Trek.
Day 09: Khongma pass to Numbuck: Trek.
Day 10: Numbuck to Nay Kharka (a pilgrimage for local people): Trek.
Day 11: Rest day at Nay Kharka: Acclimatization.
Day 12: Nay Kharka to Sarsung: Trek.
Day 13: Sarsung to Makalu Base Camp: Trek.
Day 14: Makalu Base Camo to Nay Kharka: Trek.
Day 15: Nay Kharka to Shipton~La pass (4075m): Trek.
Day 16: Shipton~la pass to Seduwa: Trek.
Day 17: Seduwa to Mure: Trek.
Day 18: Mure to Khandbari: Trek.
Day 19: Khandbari to Tumlingtar: Trek.
